Indulge in the serene beauty of Lysefjord in winter by joining our unique winter kayaking experience. As you paddle through icy landscapes and frozen waterfalls, you'll discover the breathtaking scenery of Norway’s majestic landscape.

Embark on a 3.5-hour adventure, starting with a free optional pickup from Stavanger Tourist Information at 9:00 am. If you're traveling independently, meet us at our starting location at 10:00 am. The drive to Lysefjord takes about 45 minutes. Our experienced guide will provide a comprehensive safety briefing before we set off.

Paddle your way deeper into the fjord, passing by stunning mountains, frozen waterfalls, and the occasional glimpse of local wildlife. Feel the invigorating chill of the winter air and take in the serene beauty of the snow-covered landscape.

As we glide along the frozen surface of the fjord, we may spot some of the region’s unique wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for seals and sea eagles.

Our guide will provide you with all the kayaking equipment you need, including a double kayak, paddle, vest, neoprene boots, neoprene gloves, and a dry-suit. You'll also enjoy a hot chocolate break during the paddle to warm up and refuel.

To ensure you're comfortable throughout the adventure, we recommend bringing long underwear, preferably wool, to wear under the paddling gear. A thick pair of socks will also keep your feet warm, and don't forget to bring snacks and water. If your hands tend to get cold, hand warmers are a great option.
